started Edisto Home Watch about four years ago to
provide peace of mind to people who can't be in their homes on Edisto Island
year round. Some have vacation homes, others travel, still others go on
vacations. Whatever the reason we will watch their homes, water their plants,

Another of our small businesses is White Oak Farm. While we've been in business for over 15 years our business has changed dramatically. We no longer sell daylilies, finding it simply too labor intensive. We are continuing to sell fresh, pre-picked quarts of blueberries during late May, June and early July.

Great for your morning cereal, wonderful in pancakes or muffins, and beyond
description when made into pies or other deserts. Large, juicy, and delicious.

Equally exciting is Ann's artwork created from a variety of gourds
grown right here on the farm.

The gourd art is not your usual bird houses or Santa Claus gourds, Ann creates
bowls, vases, sculpture, and what ever else her imaginative eye sees
when she looks at a particular gourd. She uses wood burning techniques, dyes,
inks, paints and everything from horse hair to feathers. They are truly art.
